Especially convenient are e.g. the vibration alarm (in especially loud surroundings), the VOX (activates the radio set through speech without "button pressing", this means hands free while playing or working), the selective call system CTCSS with 38 tones or 83 DCS-tones (permits the specific calling of a specific radio partner).
Also useful are the noise limiter, the illuminated display, the Roger-Beep function, Call-button with 15 different ring tones, scan-function as well as the two-channel monitoring.
